LA VIA FRANCIGENA
The famous “via Francigena” is an easy walk for everyone, it is an historical path that starts in the North of Europe (Cantembury) and leads to Rome. Follow the pilgrims footsteps and live a journey that started a thousand year ago…Saint Vincent is part of the fourth stop of the Aosta valley route. the start is near the Church then you keep going towards the Roman bridge and you keep going to Verres.

In this section we propose some itineraries perfect for skilled hikers. It is important to say that the mountain can be dangerous (falling rocks, bad weather, etc), so it is important for everyone to understand that it can be risky and you have to be really careful and be wisdom when you enter in the wildlife. Every mountain path is indicated with the appropriate signs, usually these signs are stakes with a yellow cartel where it Is indicated: the number and the name of the path, the name of the village or the site to reach, the altitude, the duration of the walking and the difficulty of it.
Aosta Valley's golf courses and practice fields offers the chance to practice this sporting discipline in very panoramic surroundings. GOLF CLUB CERVINO: This picturesque course is the highest golf course in Europe, it is located in a naturalistic contest unique in the world. It has 18 holes arranged on 5305 meters land, It has lots of services as restaurants, locker rooms, carts and golf-cart rentals, etcc. GOLF VAL D'AYAS: practice course is located in Periasc a few minutes from Champoluc. It includes 8 stations, 4 of which are covered in the event of bad weather, and 9 hole putting greens, bars and other services.There is also the chance to play with a virtual simulator.
CLIMBING/ ROCK CLIMBING
Rock climbing, artificial walls and the famous “Vie Ferrate” climbing mountains route for real experts!... lot of choice for your summer!
ROCK CLIMBING: Starting from Arnad, you’ll find two natural rock walls called “La Gruviera” and “La Paretone”, in Brusson you can find an artificial walls in Extrapieraz.. and so on, lots more!! “Vie Ferrate”: for real expert you might try an equipped path going toward “Rifugio Quintino sella in the Valley of Gressoney or another one calle “Via Ferrata Crète Sèche”..
Remember, you have to be really experienced and equipped to do those ones!
A day horse riding correspond to a 30 or 40 minutes in the car, slow moving helps to appreciate the nature and the habitat around us but not only, it is also safe and a good way to explore nature without causing any damage to the wildlife.In Saint-Vincent, you’ll find “CAVALLO E NATURA”, an horse farm just a few minutes away from the hotel that organizes lesson for experts or beginners, they organizes hours lesson or a full day trekking!

Yes! You heard well, in summer time, precisely from 29 June 2019 to the 8th September 2019 you have the possibility to ski! In Breuil-Cervinia, at 3500 altitude on the Plateau rosa glacier you have wonderful slopes, long trails great for all levels and specialities. You can also use the piccolo cervino cableway (3883 meters altitude) and ski in the swiss territory.
